Mango Inn Resort - a charming resort with diving at its best

The small and charming Mango Inn Resort is located in a quiet part of Utila Island, the first and smallest of Honduras' three bay islands. Surrounded by a tropical garden, you can relax by the pool after your dives and soak up the sun to your heart's content. The resort includes the Utila Dive Center, a 5-star PADI career dive center that offers the full range of diving courses from beginner to professional.

The hotel is lovingly built entirely of wood. The rooms are a pleasant size and offer spacious verandas where you can enjoy the Caribbean lifestyle in hammocks with a good book and a cocktail.

Location & facilities

Utila can be reached by ferry from La Ceiba (approx. 45 minutes) or Roatán (approx. 1 hour) or by small plane from the mainland of Honduras. This is followed by a short ride on the hotel shuttle bus to the resort.

Accommodation

Depending on the type chosen, the rooms have a shower/WC, air conditioning, ceiling fan, cable TV, small fridge, 110V sockets and WLAN.

The restaurant "Mango Inn Bar & Grill" is well known for its cuisine on the island. The fresh pizzas from the brick oven are an insider tip. International dishes and wines and much more offer something for every palate.

Activities

Diving, snorkeling, swimming, exploring the islands on quads, bikes or golf carts and lazing by the pool or in a hammock. Snorkeling with whale sharks is an absolute highlight. From March to May and August to October is the most active time for whale sharks, which are spotted all year round around Utila.
